Fentanyl Awareness and Education
Adrian was deceived to death. He was poisoned by a fake Percocet (pain reliever) pill that contained illicit Fentanyl and killed him instantly.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our purpose to advocate and prevent other families from suffering the unimaginable loss of a loved one. With your support we can reach out more families in our effort to raise awareness of the dangers of illicit fentanyl and save lives. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
Our mission is to raise awareness about the dangers of illicit fentanyl and prevent further tragedies caused by its deceptive distribution. The youth are being poisoned, they are misled into thinking they are obtaining a prescription pill, when in reality they are being given a fake pill with illicit fentanyl, resulting in instant death in most cases. In honor of my son, Adrian De Jesus, who lost his life at the young age of 19, we strive to educate and inform communities on the risks and deceptive tactics associated with this deadly substance. Through advocacy and outreach, we aim to save lives, raise awareness and stop this deceptive practice from claiming more innocent lives. Additionally, we are dedicated to keeping Adrian's passion for music alive by supporting the musical aspirations of youth and helping them achieve their dreams.
"We are Adrian's voice, who can no longer speak for himself".
My son Adrian De Jesus was only 19 years old when he was murdered and poisoned by fentanyl which shattered our lives forever. He has two older sisters, who adored him! His passion in life was music, he had big goals and dreams that he didn’t get to fulfill because his life was cut too short. He wanted to be an entrepreneur and be the ONE who would make a difference so we could be financially secure.
Adrian suffered from ADHD, anxiety, insomnia and depression. The medication the doctor’s prescribed him made him feel robotic, he didn’t like that feeling and had stopped taking the medication.
On the evening of February 10, 2020, Adrian wanted to write music and told a friend on a text message, he was going to buy a Percocet pill to be able to focus and write music. That night Adrian reached out to a dealer he found on Snapchat and purchased what he believed to be Percocet, a prescription pain reliever. Instead, the drug dealer risked his life by delivering to Adrian’s house a counterfeit Percocet pill containing a lethal amount of illicit fentanyl. Adrian ingested the pill and later went to sleep. The morning of February 11, 2020, Adrian NEVER woke up! after numerous attempts to resuscitate him by family and paramedics, he was gone… The coroners came to pick him up and my family and I were beyond devastated, crying and screaming uncontrollably, heartbroken and in disbelief! We had no idea what had happened to Adrian, ,,why such a sudden death? He was always very cautious about everything, but the toxicology report showed NO Percocet in his system, there was only pure illicit fentanyl in that M30 fake pill! which killed him instantly. Adrian didn’t have a chance…, he was poisoned, he was deceived to death! Adrian was my sole companion, and I was left to bear this unimaginable and excruciating pain!
The drug dealer is still out there peddling poison because our laws allow it. We urgently need laws to hold these drug dealers accountable, no family is immune to this!
I always dreamed of seeing my son graduate from High School, I never imagined I’d be walking for him to receive his diploma. I wasn’t supposed to bury my child, my heart is shattered into a million pieces and this tragedy has forever broken our family apart. Our lives will NEVER be the same without Adrian! I will never see my son walking through my front door, calling me “Mom”. I will never see him get married to his beautiful girlfriend and have children, he was robbed of his beautiful future!
My son made a mistake of buying this pill, but he didn’t deserve to die from it.
“Dead on Arrival” is a short film about fentanyl’s deadly role in the U.S. illicit drug market. Parents tell their story
According to the CDC, 107,375 people in the United States died of drug overdoses and drug poisonings in the 12-month period ending in January 2022. A staggering 67 percent of those deaths involved synthetic opioids like fentanyl, often consumed unknowingly by users. Some of these deaths were attributed to fentanyl mixed with other illicit drugs like cocaine, methamphetamine, and heroin, with many users unaware they were actually taking fentanyl. Only two milligrams of fentanyl is considered a potentially lethal dose; it’s particularly dangerous for someone who does not have a tolerance to opioids.
Fentanyl is a potent synthetic opioid drug approved by the Food and Drug Administration for use as an analgesic (pain relief) and anesthetic. It is approximately 100 times more potent than morphine and 50 times more potent than heroin as an analgesic.
Apace, China Girl, China Town, Dance Fever, Friend, Goodfellas, Great Bear, He-Man, Jackpot, King Ivory, Murder 8, Poison and Tango & Cash
snorted/sniffed, smoked, orally by pill or tablet, spiked onto blotter paper, patches, sold alone or in combination with heroin and other substances, has been identified in fake pills, mimicking pharmaceutical drugs such as oxycodone.
Similar to other opioid analgesics, fentanyl produces effects such as: relaxation, euphoria, pain relief, sedation, confusion, drowsiness, dizziness, nausea and vomiting, urinary retention, pupillary constriction, and respiratory depression.
What are the overdose effects?
Overdose may result in stupor, changes in pupillary size, cold and clammy skin, cyanosis, coma, and respiratory failure leading to death. The presence of triad of symptoms such as coma, pinpoint pupils, and respiratory depression are strongly suggestive of opioid poisoning.
One of our mission goals is to keep Adrian's passion for music alive by helping the youth accomplish their music aspiration goals. For a chance to win a music grant, If you write music, please present us with a song that will help deliver a message to the world regarding the risks of illicit fentanyl in an effort to spread awareness and save our youth. We will select the song that will win a music grant. Please subscribe or email us for more information if you wish to participate.

"A clock represents time. Time is probably one of the most precious things that every single one of us take for granted. Think about it, what do we fight for? Time. We all fight for it while we're on earth, because we're all trying to live & be here for as long as we can. Also, to me, it shows me like throughout this short (time) we have in this life, to take advantage and chase what we really want, and want to do in life. Whatever your dream and passion is...Because we only have this amount of time, and we never know when our (time is up)
Time is Precious"
